"Dacha" is an ongoing project about a place where my family has been spending summer time for over 60 years. For 60 years my grandmother walked in the woods there, my mother, me and my sister grew up there, my father was fatally injured there. Possibly my nephews and children will grow up there. However, our family never owned land there.

The project is a study about how we can be deeply rooted in a territory and consider it
a home for such a long time, but simultaneously without any rights to the territory itself.
